A Little About Me
BS in Microbiology from the University of Florida
Masters in Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine
Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl.O.M.) issued by NCCAOM
Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in Oregon & California
As a Conch, born and raised in Key West, FL, I loved spending time swimming and snorkeling. While I was studying at the University of Florida, surfing became my water fun and took me to San Diego. A beautiful woman I met turned me on to what truly became my two deepest passions: her and Chinese Medicine. After completing my Masters of Science program in Traditional Oriental(Chinese) Medicine (TCM) at Pacific College of Health and Science (formerly Pacific College of Oriental Medicine), it was time to leave the crowded city life, and find a closer connection with nature. The variety of landscapes and water of Central Oregon and the lively, gracious people of Bend made it the perfect choice for the next chapter of our life.

My interest in TCM draws from the holistic view of the medicine, along with the naturalistic ideas of returning the body's internal environment to harmony and balance. As an Acupuncturist, I am rooted in compassion, and my greatest wish is to bring comfort and good health to my patients. I strive to listen to their needs, and then focus my warm hands and caring heart to provide a relaxing and healing treatment. I utilize a multitude of diagnostic strategies to develop a specific treatment plan filled with acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na massage, and herbal medicine.
When I'm not working with patients, I am with Jenni (that beautiful woman). What we're doing, of course depends on the season. Right now, we're doing some camping, hiking, canoeing, and got a couple days of river floating in. But doing what we can to stay physically distanced and wearing our masks. Please be thoughtful of those who are vulnerable and do the same when you're out and about.
